To start off the 2021 movie year, Ryan and Jay take a look at a sibling pair of directors who have been revolutionary visual storytellers for almost three decades. Lana and Lilly Wachowski debuted in the late 1990s, and since then, they have been trailblazers with an epic scope that leaves the audiences with plenty to talk about. While not every single movie of theirs is a box office or critical hit, they swing for the fences and carry their projects with such tender emotions. Their filmography has changed modern-day cinema, and with that, Extra Film couldn’t think of a better way to start the new year than with these two amazing directors.
