Podcast: The Card Counter / Top 3 Oscar Isaac Scenes – Episode 448

For our latest campaign, we are trying to reach 200 reviews on iTunes. We are getting closer and closer to our goal, but we need your help. Leave us a review today and you may even receive a free InSession Film t-shirt!

This week on the InSession Film Podcast, we discuss Paul Schrader’s latest film in The Card Counter and our Top 3 Oscar Isaac scenes in film!

After last week’s massive 2003 retrospective, it may be easy to snooze on this episode if you’re not interested in The Card Counter or Paul Schrader. However, at the very least, we urge you to stick around for our Oscar Isaac conversation. It was passionate and boy did we have a lot of fun talking about his best scenes. And for what it’s worth, we did our best to sift through all of The Card Counter‘s nuances and where the film falters and where it succeeds.

On that note, check out this week’s show and let us know what you think in the comment section. Thanks for listening and for supporting the InSession Film Podcast!

Top 3 Oscar Isaac Scenes (1:08:47)
As we joked about on the show, it may be a little too early in Oscar Isaac’s career for this, but this is just Part 1 of hopefully an unlimited part series talking about his best scenes. Perhaps it’s because the timing of his rise in popularity correlates with our own growth as a podcast/film website, but his resume is somewhat nostalgic for us. We love Isaac and what he brings to his roles. There ore many, many great scenes to consider for this list, and boy did we have a great time talking them. That said, what would be your top 3?
