Every kid plays war with their friends; it’s just a childhood staple. That’s what I Declare War is all about.
Today, we got the trailer for I Declare War, an R-rated film about kids playing war where the make-believe and reality collide. The film hit the festival circuit last year and I’ve heard nothing but great things about it, with most people saying it’s in the vein of Stand By Me. It definitely takes a unique approach to the childhood game, and as somebody who played war as a kid, I’m definitely looking forward to this.
I Declare War is out on VOD on July 26 before being released theatrically on August 30.
