On this episode, JD and Brendan discuss Kelly Reichardt’s new film The Mastermind, starring an incredible Josh O’Connor! We are massive fans of Reichardt with her films often filling up our Best Of lists each time she has a new one come out. And spoiler alert, we had some *really* good things to say about The Mastermind. It’s a film straight out of the 1970s and a beautiful homage to the likes of Robert Altman, John Cassavetes and the like of the New Hollywood Era.
