It was arguably the most significant box office weekend we’ve seen since Barbenheimer a few years ago with Backrooms and Obsession continuing to dominate in what felt like a Hollywood-taking-notice kind of way. Will the studios take away the wrong lessons from it? Probably. But we felt it was necessary to dive into it and talk about what may come out of all of this.

One of the biggest news to drop this week outside of the box office results was the report that Taylor Swift will be writing an original song for Toy Story 5 that will be dropping later this week. Could this be how she wins an Oscar? Perhaps, but either way expect the discourse to be a clown show.

With Masters of the Universe coming out this weekend, we thought it would be fun to talk about our favorite secret identity movies. This is a list we’ve never done before and there are surprisingly many different angles to this topic. As a result, it did narrow our criteria slightly, but we still came to the table with some great films and we had a blast breaking down our picks.
