Matt Damon has had an interesting career with performances ranging from action to comedy to intensely dramatic. And yes, we have spent a lot of time trying to save him, for better or worse. Given the trailers for Suburbicon, he may delve into the entire spectrum of what he has to offer. His performance idicates serious drama – for his character anyway – in a film that is (probably) meant to be a satire, and he’s punched in the face at one point, so he’d doing it all.
