This week on the InSession Film Podcast, we continue our Steven Spielberg Movie Series with his 1974 film The Sugarland Express and Ryan McQuade fills in for JD as we review the Foo Fighters horror-comedy Studio 666!
This week’s episode ended up being a fun, twisty journey. After toying with a few ideas on last week’s podcast, we ended up letting our listener’s decide which film we were going to review on this show, and it ended up being a little surprising. We expected Marry Me or The Cursed to win, however it ended up being Studio 666 in an interesting little turn. To make it even more contorted, JD was not able to see Studio 666 so we had to once again call upon the great Ryan McQuade to fill in for that discussion. So, we flipped the script slightly and started things off with our Spielberg review and did the new movie in the back half of the show.

It certainly stirred up a lot of conversation and we felt inspired to give a few brief thoughts on it as well. Hopefully they will reconsider their choices as we hope to celebrate all of the nominees in the ways they deserve.
