This film is exactly why we include Best Surprise Movie at the InSession Film Awards each year because goodness KPop Demon Hunters came out of nowhere. It drops on Netflix and becomes a huge sensation, to the point where it hits theaters two months after its initial release and wins the box office weekend. Not to mention having three songs in the Billboard Top 10 at the same time, something that has never happened before to a movie soundtrack. Absolutely wild story. So, of course, we had to talk about it.
