The people are craving good movies and salivating over practical filmmaking. Is this a turning of the tide for moviegoers? We discuss.

Watching the trailer for Avengers: Doomsday after The Odyssey was an extremely jarring experience. But, to be fair, it is a Marvel movie. And it looks like a Marvel movie. Considering the aforementioned shifting of the tide and where the MCU has been over the last six years, the bar is on the floor. We’re just hoping for a good movie.

We didn’t get as much time with this list as we hoped, but we still had fun talking about our favorite dinner party movies. This is kind of a tricky list as “dinner party” could be defined in several ways. And depending on your perspective, there are a ton of awesome movies that quality for this discussion, which made for a really fun conversation given how things played out.
