After killing some Nazis in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, it appears Brad Pitt isn’t done with World War II just yet.
According to Deadline, Pitt – who can be seen in June’s World War Z – is set to star in David Ayer’s Fury, a story about a five-man tank crew who are fighting against a desperate German army. Fury is based on a true story – something Basterds was not.
Ayer made one of last year’s best films with End of Watch, a found-footage buddy-cop film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a must watch. Ayer’s next film is Ten, a thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington and Terrence Howard, which will be released next May.
As of now, there is no release date set for Fury.
