Women InSession: Alfred Hitchcock in the late 50’s & 60’s – Episode 9

This week on Women InSession Podcast, Kristin Battestella, Zita Short and Amy Thomasson conclude our Alfred Hitchcock discussion by talking about his late 1950’s output, including Vertigo, and his 1960’s efforts!

Hitchcock famously finishes out the 1950s with Vertigo and North by Northwest, two of his more famous films, before kickstarting the 60’s with Psycho and The Birds. Just an incredible stretch of filmmaking. However, it’s what makes the rest of the 60’s baffling as his later output is much more dubious. We, of course, have a lot of fun talking about that duality.

On that note, check out this week’s show and let us know what you think in the comment section. Thanks for listening and for supporting the InSession Film Podcast!
