This week on the InSession Film Podcast, for Part 2 of our InSession Film Awards, we discuss our Top 10 movies of 2022! It ended up being a very good year for film (maybe the best of the decade so far?) and we had a really fun discussion counting down the very best that cinema had to offer at the movies this last year.
Similar to last year, it was mostly an average year for film heading into the fall season, but things picked up quite drastically toward the end of the year. Whether it be one of the major studio works in 2022, the many international films that took our breath away, GOAT filmmakers bringing their best or the great directorial debuts of the year, there was plenty to love at the cinema. It finally started to feel normal again, and we are extremely thankful for that.
