It’s appropriate that we discussed The United States vs Billie Holiday this week off the heels of the 2021 Golden Globes where its star Andra Day surprised many by winning Best Actress. It was a wonderful moment and a deserved win. We, of course, talk about her performance in the review, but we also talk about the Golden Globes and how wild of a show it was. It’s also a good week any time you get to talk Terrence Malick, and boy did we have fun talking Days of Heaven.
