Podcast: Silence / The Irishman – Extra Film

This week on the Extra Film Podcast, Ryan and Sophia conclude their Martin Scorsese Movie Series with a double bill of Silence and The Irishman! Thank you to Sophia for time with us over the last few months!

What an epic conclusion to one of the most enjoyable series we’ve ever done on the podcast. Martin Scorsese is simply the 🐐 and we had the best time breaking down all of his movies. Silence and The Irishman are especially fascinating because they’re manifestations of a filmmaker reflecting on what has defined him his entire career. So to end with those two was perfectly satisfying. Also, a huge thanks to Sophia for joining us once again. She was a great co-host and we’ve loved having her a part of the team over these last few months.

On that note, check out this week’s show and let us know what you think in the comment section. Thanks for listening and for supporting the InSession Film Podcast!
