Say what you will about its storytelling, but this is one hell of a musical. The movement. The feral screaming. It’s wild. It also fits the 2025 theme of grief and parenthood, something we’ve seen quite a bit of this last year, and The Testament of Ann Lee is another great addition to that crop of films.
