– Opening Banter / JD’s Story (5:50)
After some opening banter, we begin the show this week with an unexpected but really fun story. There’s been a new development in JD’s life that is full of some incredible irony and coincidences. It might sound unbelievable in a few places, but we promise it’s all true. If you have a Samsung TV, you absolutely have to check it out.
– Call of Duty / The Mummy 4 (32:00)
We then talk about the new Call of Duty news with Taylor Sheridan and Peter Berg being attached as writer and director. While this may sound like it’s coming too late, and to a degree it is, but the game series is as popular as ever still. The Modern Warfare storyline, which we assume is what they’ll be adapting, just rebooted itself in recent years. So there’s lots of story to choose from and it could be interesting. We’re also very excited over the news that The Mummy 4 is on the way. We would watch a dozen of those movies.
– 2025 Movie Catch-Up (38:09)
There are always those movies that fall through the cracks or that we just don’t have time to review in some formal capacity. So from time-to-time, we love to have these segments where we talk about the movies that we’ve recently caught up with. This week we talk about Kpop Demon Hunters, Splitsville, The Ballad of Wallis Island, The Perfect Neighbor, Steve and a few other small films.
