Director Jeff Nichols has become a big part of InSession Film Podcast lore as he’s become one of our very favorite filmmakers working today. Long time listeners will know that Midnight Special was my favorite film of 2016 and in his Top 10 for movies of the 2010s. Take Shelter, Mud and Loving are all great as well, with Shotgun Stories being one hell of a debut.
