Podcast: Inside Man / Mass – Extra Film

This week on Extra Film, Ryan and Jay conclude their Spike Lee Movie Series with Inside Man and they also review the Fran Kranz film Mass!

Spike Lee has had his ups and downs over the years, but there’s no denying his importance to cinema. This series has been incredibly rewarding and it ends on a great note with Inside Man. It’s a great and entertaining film that continues to demonstrate Spike’s capabilities as a filmmaker. Mass, on the other hand, is a powerful study in emotional vulnerability and trying to find closure. It’s an Oscar contender and one of the more compelling films we’ll see this fall season.

On that note, check out this week’s show and thanks for listening to the InSession Film Podcast!
