Again, I can’t express how excited I am for Pacific Rim that is set to come out on Friday. In an interview with Digital Spy, Guillermo Del Toro discussed the high stakes of Pacific Rim, especially given the fact that it’s an original piece, and how he applied his own personal touches to make this a fun summer blockbuster.
Del Toro also went on to say that Pacific Rim isn’t the only chance for original summer blockbusters as he mentioned Elysium coming up and that it’s important to see more movies like that.
This interview is pretty good and a fun watch as we prepare ourselves for the awesomeness that will be Pacific Rim this weekend.
