This week on the InSession Film Podcast, we discuss Darren Aronofsky’s polarizing new film The Whale and the latest from Sam Mendes in Empire of Light! Plus, a few thoughts on Blonde and The Menu.
This week’s episode was a little bit of a doozy. The Whale is a challenging film to talk about given how polarizing it is. Some people love it and others hate it with passionate conviction. We did our best to be open-minded about it and hopefully that comes through in our conversation. Same thing with Blonde during the break segment, as many have come to despite that film as well. Regardless, it was fun to talk about Brendan Fraser once again and we are rooting hard for the guy.
