On this episode, JD and Brendan discuss James Gunn’s latest film Superman as it kicks off the brand new DCU, along with a segment of JD’s son Sam who also gives us his thoughts as well! While we liked Man of Steel as an origin story for Clark Kent, it wasn’t enough to save the DCEU as it faltered in the aftermath. So here we are more than a decade later with a new universe for DC and Warner bros. It’s a very different movie, but Superman is exactly what the DCU needed to get people excited for its future.
