We begin the show this week by discussing some new trends in the cinema world that we find very exciting, one of which is that trailers are playing exclusively in theaters. Seeing the trailer for Avatar: Fire & Ash in a packed theater was magical, and oh boy are we deeply excited for that movie.

There were two revelations that JD had while going back home to Michigan. One of them revolves around Lady Bird and the other Hans Zimmer. How do those names relate to Michigan summers? Tune in to find out. Also, after The Fantastic Four: First Steps hit theaters and began Phase 6 for Marvel, we had some thoughts on where things stand for the MCU and what the immediate future might be.

Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe took the world by storm, there were plenty of other great superhero movies that we all loved and cherish. And we wanted to celebrate those by discussing our collective Top 10. As always, the movies at the top weren’t difficult, but negotiating the bottom five did come with some really fun and challenging hurdles.
