This week on the InSession Film Podcast, Ryan fills in for JD as we discuss Warner Bros. historic Blockbuster streamer in Wonder Woman 1984 and also Pixar’s latest in Soul! Plus, a few thoughts on the films we’ve been catching up on lately.
As you may have seen on social media, JD’s grandmother passed away so he stepped aside to be with his family, so a big thanks to Ryan for jumping in the co-host chair this week. We had a ton of fun talking about these two big studio films, something we haven’t really done since March. It’s also historic as Wonder Woman 1984 becomes the first major blockbuster to be released on streaming since the pandemic started. The film itself has also provoked some interesting discourse as well. So, a lot to talk about on this week’s episode.
