Jeff Bridges plays a wizard. That’s all you really need to know about Seventh Son.
Today, we got the first trailer for the fantasy epic based on Joseph Delaney’s The Wardstone Chronicles. Bridges plays Master Gregory, a wizard/knight who trains a young apprentice to combat a witch and save mankind. Julianne Moore stars as the witch Mother Malkin.
Seventh Son actually looks pretty good, a sort of mix between Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings (both of which I love). And it features Jeff … FREAKIN’ … Bridges as a grizzled wizard. It certainly looks better than R.I.P.D.
Seventh Son hits theaters on January 17, 2014.
